The energy that brings life, brings death

The same energy that brings life brings death, that was the thought I had in my head before I had a dream of Shiva the Creator/Destroyer. He said that I am the one that brought you here, you should pray to me. Two weeks later when my mom returned from her voyage to India, she said that she met a Guru who said that I should be praying to Shiva. Some other rare coincidences, I was born in Nainital, the city which is known as the tear drop of Sati, Shiva's consort. A random book I bought from a bookstore due to the cover, was one that is dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva and I have always been a fan of the cobra snake, to the point that if i was to get a tattoo I would get a cobra marking on me.

i refer to tarot in regards to the matter and the first card i pull is the card of niggun or music, a tear comes to my eye.

Namaste to the Zion I Crew

I have always been a beat junkie first and foremost. If the beats weren’t on point I wouldn’t listen to the MC. With the Zion I crew, I was in love with Amp Live’s production first and foremost, and his production skills got me onto Zumbi, who I believe to be one of the most wise/intelligent MC’s on the this planet, or should I say outside of this planet. Wise intelligent are synonyms for each other, but I feel that together they better represent the Science that Zumbi is dropping. The Zion I crews lyrics are full of eastern mythology that to the untrained ear may sound unorthodox, but for those tuned in to depth infinite; Zion I resonates high.

I have been a fan since their release Critical off of Mind over Matter. Its amazing to say that the growth and development that Zumbi and Amp Live have in their music, keeps expanding. The diversity of Amp Live to produce disgusting dub step electro to poetically smooth hip hop relates to Zumbi’s dilated lyrics so well. Big up to the Zion I massive; I know its you in your element cause the vibe is always right at all of their shows; that might be because of Zion I’s strong female fanbase :)

When I met the Zion I crew prior to their show in Vancouver BC, I unconsciously went into “Namaste” position to greet them. Namaste recognizes the belief that the life force, the divinity, the Self or the God in us is the same in all. Acknowledging this oneness with the meeting of the palms, we honor the god in the person we meet. Bless up Zion I. It is a long journey home.

release the beast

the synchronicity with aleister crowley was one that intrigued me because prior to the creation of this track, knock @ 666, i was completely unaware of who this gentleman was.

shortly after i created knock @ 666, which was crowley's calling. i was listening to casual's, from the heiro crew, freestyle, and he mentioned crowley's name.

the next day i went to chapters and the first book i see is one by crowley. upon reviewing his material i realized that we had quite a few simliarities in theory. we both believe in do as thou wilst.

during a freestyle, i started rhyming, "release the beast to complete unique". then i read that crowley called himself the beast. the first spirit i feel to contact me was nuit; the reader in crowley's book of the law. when i was 5 and my parents took me to a religious institution, a voice stated not to worship the religious sculptures but to worship the spirit in the sky; where she resides.

i am quite the chess addict and women addict as is mr. crowley and for quite some time now i have been having some strong inclinations to go to egypt... here is the track casual and i created:

fresh mind click. unconscious mcs.

the day dilla gave me a donut

in no way is this a comparison, it is nothing more than random coincidences that occurred in succession.

i was just listening to some dilla beats and i came to the realization that me and dilla have some certain similarities:

besides the obvious, one will never do, we both like our beats looped up, and we both don't kick it around the way cause we don't got time these days.

as these thoughts grazed my head i made a beat and loaded it into my mp3 player, i was playing my beats through the drive through of a local doughnut shop and the cashier was like what music is this, and i responded mine, and he was like, "thats sweet" and hooked me up with a free doughnut and coffee.

JD rest in beats.

Original Man and Kharma

If the theory of the original man is true, which I do believe to be true; original man being African gives birth to an Albino (genetic recessive) baby which is thought of as the devil for being the opposite of the original so they are cast north to become, hundreds of years later, Europeans. Then the laws of kharma come into play amazingly as the Albino’s come back to take the Original man as slaves. Full Circle. What if they Albino babies were not cast north, what would our world be today? This would be the first case of hate and segregation, literally, as one of the specific meanings of segregation is the separation of allelic genes into different gametes during meiosis.

allone

i have been tripping on numbers. there is power in numbers but none better than the number one. being the number one often means being alone, which translates to being all one, being one means a connection to the universal body, and rhythm, the art of flow.

leave me allone.

Nice Guys Finish Last (Knock @ 666)

I love the fact that one of my Fav MCs called me to commend me on this one. Although we connected on another beat, this is one phone message that I had to record. The first time I heard Declaime, I was like, if I was ever to MC I would MC like this guy, and a few weeks after I start MCing I get a phone call from the man who sparked me. What a coincidence.
