Chemistry
You can’t buy chemistry. Chemistry either exists or it doesn’t exist. I want to work with people where the chemistry is there. The chemical reaction? To make good music. But at the same time I’m a music whore, I love all music. I find the rhythm in static.

Sound is Energy - Yash Kapoor

My 2nd bootleg lp is dedicated to my sister on the day of her birth. My sister bought me my first rap cd, Rap Traxx vol. 1 (back in the day when it wasn’t cool to listen to rap) and she got me my first sound editing program, Goldwave (has anyone even heard of it?). She bought a computer with the best computer speakers, I was making beats with those til about 3 years ago lol. I have the best sister ever.
Sound is a transference of energy. Here is my energy.

2009 Artist of the Year, Oddisee

Forgive the delay of the post, but my only claim would be that I was completely submerged in this artist's music: Oddisee. Releasing two of the most brilliant pieces of hip hop work in 2009, one solo project, Mental Liberation and as Diamond District (alongside partners in rhyme X.O and YU), "In the Ruff" . This artist not only graces the production boards, but has one of the most unique voices to bless microphones. His music sounds, rich to me, it sounds full, I honestly feel I could pray to his beats. I look forward to more of his releases.
