Hieroglyphics are still representing: Opio and Architect drop it with "Don Julio"

Jake One - White Van Music

G-Unit producer who signed w/ Rhymesayers is definately worth checking out, JO has everyone thats doing something in Hip Hop right now.
Jake One, Black Milk, Nottz in "Im Coming":

the "D" is straight exploding

Phat Kat and Fat Ray = phfat track

"Hard Enuff" Black Milk provides the neck snapping beat, Phat and Fat straight spit FIRE!!!

Akrobatik, Fakts One and Mr. Lif

The Perceptionists trio come together on "Beast Mode" from Akrobatik's solo lp "Absolute Value"

The Roots

Either stand tall or sit the fuck down!

Mighty Mos Def and Black Thought rip it on Double Trouble off the Roots Things Fall Apart Lp

The Cool Kids

Cool Kids def got a fresh sound, check out this single from the Totally Flossed Out EP, Pump up the Volume.

Damu the Fudgemunk

Definately a rising beat producer, check out this track from his instrumental lp "Spare time".

Pulse:

Abstract Rude and Aceyalone

This is one of my fav's from the Project Blowed Crew, Who Framed the A-team:

Del the Funkee Homosapien

11th hour is Del's last and what I feel his best LP release since Deltron 3030. This track is called Last Hurrah, but hopefully its not Del's last hurrah.

All seems chill/Til I see me some mean grills/They must be senile/Or maybe just see nil

Slug of Atmosphere

This cat has rhymes galore and Ant comes hard with the beats. One of my fave tracks, Cigarette Breaks, featuring Sage Francis.

you better kill me now, before i turn around and blow up right in your face.

Dj Fakts One

Perceptionist's DJ Fakts One hooks up with Kingsyze and Outerspace on this dope track.

OK:

T3 of Slum Village

I had to keep the boys of Slum Village as close together as possible. The first time I heard this track, I was driving, purple hazy as fuck, and I swear I could see the track move.

"Just Move", T3:

Elzhi and Black Milk

Elzhi of Slum Village and Black Milk team up on this track, "thats the one" off of Elzhi's tour lp "Europass". It is definately the one!

All I hear is silly nonsense
Blahzay blah
Niggas say they the king
Whyd they Lie?

Check out Black Milk's "Popular Demand" for some straight sickness. I can't figure out what is better, Black's beats or his rhymes.

Flying Lotus + Phonte + Oddisee = <3

Phonte, 1/3 of Little Brother, hooked up with Flying Lotus based out of CA. Flying Lotus definately supplied the beat on this one, Phonte and Oddisee provide the lubrication.

The Perch:

Madlib’s WLIB AM: King of the Wigflip

Madlib, Madlib, Madlib!
Say his name 3 times and he shall appear!
He has been on the top of my playlist since I first heard him on a Alkaholiks track, "WLIX" I think.
Peace to Lootpack, and peace to the SP 1200 for letting Otis do his thang!

Fresh track, "Go", off his new album coming out 09/30/08 featuring Guilty Simpson.

One of the most underrated men in Hip Hop

Moka Only, aka Ron Contour, aka FlowTorch, aka Durable Mammal has been on the scene since 94 and has released over 15 albums independently (im sure there is more, im just quoting wikepedia). Regardless Moka O has done it and has been doing it consistently for years and I always give props when props are due. Moka O does not only have sick flows, but his beats will def make your head nod.

Moka Only you got "it", you have had "it" for years and I don't think "it" is going anywhere so keep doing what you do.

Here is a track that features hip hop legend J-dilla RIP and, I am proud to say, Vancouver Canada's FlowTorch.
